About me

I am Inés, I am a PhD in Molecular Biology, Computational Biologist, Data scientist, and Molecular Neurobiologist. I am originally from Argentina but now based in Boston, USA.

I am passionate about learning new things and strongly believe that learning is a synergistic and collective activity. I have learned so much from everything and everyone I have worked with! That is why I love Science: being able to learn and commit to diverse topics and people while making an impact in the world.

In this website you can find more about me, my research, and the volunteer I do. I have a git-book and many guides for diverse bioinformatic analyses that you can find here.

I am currently a postdoc in Stirling Churchman's lab at Harvard Medical School and I study how neurons modulate the way they read, write, and edit their genetic information in response to neuronal activity and how neurodegenerative diseases affect this regulation.

I have recently became involved in different Data Science for Social Impact projects you can see a few of the things we have done here. A complete version of my academic CV is here

If you are interested in anything that I do, I would be happy to hear from you. If in doubt, please reach out.
